Is AskCalc really free?
Yes — all 44+ calculator tools are completely free with no time limit. The free tier also includes 5 AI solves per month. Premium is only needed if you want unlimited AI queries.
What is an AI credit?
Each AI query uses a small number of credits from your monthly allowance. Text and voice queries cost 1.5 credits each. Image uploads cost 2.0 and camera scans cost 3.0. Free accounts get 5.0 credits per month — enough for several solves. Credits reset every calendar month.
Do the calculator tools require an internet connection?
No — all 44+ specialized calculators (finance, health, science, converters) work fully offline. An internet connection is only required for the AI Solver feature.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the Settings app on your iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions → AskCalc. You can pause or cancel anytime. Your Premium access continues until the end of the current billing period.
What languages does AskCalc support?
AskCalc is fully localized in 8 languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Simplified Chinese, Portuguese (Brazil), Japanese, Korean, and Russian.
Is my data private?
AskCalc uses Sign in with Apple for authentication and only stores your AI credit usage in Firebase. Your calculations stay on your device. No ads, no tracking, no data selling. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
