Your privacy is fundamental to our design. Khmer Calendar: Smart Reminder ("the App") is built to ensure that your personal data remains private, local, and under your control.

1. Information We Collect

Personal Birth Profile (Local Only)

The following information is stored exclusively on your device. We have no technical means to access, view, or store this data on our servers:

Birth Details: Name, date, time, and place of birth.
Reminders: Personal notes and scheduled notification times.
Bonds: Birth data for friends, family, or partners.

Usage & Diagnostic Data

We collect limited, anonymous data to improve app performance and understand feature engagement:

Identifiers: A random User ID (PostHog) and your Device ID (IDFA) are used to distinguish unique users.
App Preferences: Your selection of Language and Theme is synchronized to help us optimize the app experience for different demographics.
Product Interaction: Anonymous data on which features, tabs, or horoscope insights are most frequently viewed.
Diagnostics: Crash Data and Performance Data (like load times) provided via the App Store.

2. Third-Party Services

Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)

The free version uses AdMob for advertising. AdMob uses Device Identifiers for tracking, frequency capping, and ad measurement. This is subject to your consent via the App Tracking Transparency prompt.

In-App Purchases

Transactions are handled securely by Apple and Google. We collect Purchase History (transaction receipts) to verify your subscription and restore premium features. This is linked to your anonymous User ID but contains no credit card details.

3. Data Ownership

Deletion: Deleting the app removes all local birth profile data instantly.
No Cloud Sync: We do not back up your birth profile to the cloud, ensuring you have 100% ownership of your astrological data.
